1.Q. WILL THE HALEY'S CORKER FIT MY LARGE BOTTLES OF WINE?
A. Yes. The Corker fits all natural corked domestic and imported 750 ml and 1.5 liter wine bottles.
 
2.Q. WILL THE HALEY'S CORKER FIT MY SCREW CAP WINE?
Yes. Only the GREEN COLORED Haley's Corker is designed to fit the wider interior diameters of screw cap wine bottles.
 
3.Q. SHOULD I KEEP THE HALEY'S CORKER IN MY WINE BOTTLE WHEN I POUR?
A. Yes. You pour right through the Corker to aerate your wine, while screening out sediment, tartrates, and cork residue. Your pour is drip-free. Remove the Corker once the bottle is empty, wash the Corker in soapy water, and re-use it again and again.
 
4.Q. HOW LONG WILL THE HALEY'S CORKER HELP ME STORE WINE?
A. White wine can be stored for several weeks in the refrigerator. Red wine can also be maintained. This means you can now open many different wines to enjoy at a more leisurely pace.
 
5.Q. CAN I USE THE CORKER TO POUR CHAMPAGNE?
A. No. The effervescence of sparkling wines can blow the Corker off a full bottle and tends to slow down the pour. Therefore, we recommend you only use the Corker as a stopper on a partially consumed bottle.
 
6.HOW SHOULD I USE THE CORKER TO STORE CHAMPAGNE?
A. We recommend you use the corker ONLY on a partially consumed bottle. For example, if there are four glasses in a regular sized bottle, at least one full glass must be poured out. Store your champagne UPRIGHT for days under refrigeration. Now, you don't have to wait for a special occasion. Enjoy and celebrate your every day events!
 
7.Q. IS THE HALEY'S CORKER A WINE VACUUM?
A. No. The Corker is better than a wine vacuum because the Corker does not strip out wine esters (which give wine their distinctive aroma) like a wine vacuum can.
 
8.Q. WHAT OTHER BOTTLES WILL THE HALEY'S CORKER FIT?
A. The Corker fits many corked liqueurs, cordials, champagne, single malt scotch, soda pop, large format beer, plus olive oils and vinegars.
 
9.Q. HOW DOES THE HALEY'S CORKER HELP PRESERVE LIQUEURS?
A. The corker replaces corks and caps that stick, shrink, and crack, thereby causing expensive contents to evaporate.
 
10.Q. HOW DOES THE HALEY'S CORKER HELP PRESERVE IMPORTED OLIVE OILS AND VINEGARS?
A. The Corker replaces natural cork that is known to swell, split, and become oily and unsanitary after usage. Because of the built-in screen, the Corker also helps to keep herbs and spices in for future flavoring.
 
11.Q. WILL THE HALEY'S CORKER HELP PREVENT FRUIT FLY PROBLEMS?
A. Yes. The Corker helps prevent fruit flies from entering wine, sweet liqueurs, and cordials to which they are naturally attracted. This is a special benefit for establishments that serve alcohol. When Liquor Commissioners conduct inspections, if a bottle is found to be infested with fruit flies, those bottles must be dumped. An extremely expensive penalty!
