2009 St Croix

This light bodied wine has a great colour. Slightly smokey and with pepper on the nose and blackberry on the palate. Lightly oaked to soften the mid-palate, it is reminiscent of a Malbec. Made to enjoy now or within a year. Hailstorm Red got its name because it was harvested during a hailstorm and heavy rain!
